KABUL (Pajhwok): The Public Health Department of central Kapisa province has collected 50,000cc blood from residents and sent it to the earthquake-hit southeastern Khost, Paktika and Nanangar provinces.
According to reports, at least 1,000 people lost their lives and 1,500 more were wounded as a result of a powerful predawn earthquake on Wednesday.
The public health department of Kapisa donated 50,000cc blood to the victims of the natural disaster.
