SHARAN (Pajhwok): One person died and five others were injured in a gas cylinder explosion in the Surobi district of southeastern Paktika province, an official said on Tuesday.
Mohammad Amin Huzaifa, director of information and culture, said the incident took place in the Zara Qala village of Surobi district on Monday.
One person was killed and five others wounded the explosion. Women and children were among the victims, members of the same family.
