FARAH (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have killed a man and injured another one in the Gonahkan area of Farah city, the provincial capital, an official said on Monday.
Information and Cultural Affairs Director Mawlavi Abdul Hai Sabawon told Pajhwok Afghan News that unidentified gunmen killed one person and injured another one in Gonahkan area on Sunday evening.
Sabawon, without giving further detail said that security personnel have launched search operation to arrest the murderers.
The victim’s cousin Juma Khan told Pajhwok: “My cousin and our relative were returning on their motorbike from their mobile phone repairing shop when someones opened fire on them.”
Juma Khan thinks that the attackers were possibly thieves because they took their bag of mobile sets.
