KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) has opened its new branch in the Central Passport Office in Kabul, an official said on Tuesday.
In a statement, DAB said the new branch in the Passport Office was the seventh in Kabul. The objective was to facilitate fee deposits by passport applicants, who would no longer need to travel to other DAB branches in the city, it added.
DAB deputy head Abdul Qadir Ahmad said at the opening ceremony for the new branch they wanted to provide timely services to its customers.
Ahmad explained the branch had 15 booths and five of them were specified for female customers.
