SAR-I-PUL CITY (Pajhwok): A 10-year-old boy has been killed after being kidnapped on Wednesday evening in central Sar-i-Pul province, an official said on Thursday.
Police spokesman Din Mohammad Nazari told Pajhwok Afghan News Safiullah, son of Amir Mohammad, was a resident of the 2nd police district of Sar-i-Pul City.
The minor had gone missing on Wednesday evening after he came out of home, the police spokesman said.
He added the boy was found dead and had signs of strangulation around his neck.
The victim’s family said they had no enmity with anyone. Police have arrested three suspects in connection with the murder.
