IEA affirms respect for women’s rights

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has affirmed its commitment to upholding the rights of all citizens, including women.

Women’s rights were respected in Afghanistan more than ever before, the Taliban administration said on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

Bilal Karimi, deputy spokesman for IEA, the Islamic Shariah preserved the rights of all citizens, including women and girls.
