Humiliation of Afghans at Chaman, Torkham gates not acceptable: PTM

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) Head Mansoor Pashtin said ongoing maltreatment of Pashtun Afghan people in Chaman, Torkham and Angor Ada gates was not acceptable.

Addressing a public gathering in Quetta, Pashtin said Pashtun Afghan tribe is humiliated, abused and mistreated and PTM will support every movement to condemn these atrocities.

“People from Afghanistan are maltreated at Chaman gate. The Torkham, Chaman and Angor Ada gates are closed on no issue and this is not acceptable for us anymore,” Manzoor told a charged gathering which was attended by senior Pashtun leaders.

He said Pashtuns are divided through propaganda and force and they are told on their soil to go here and not to go there.

“The land of Pashtuns have resources under and above their land but they have no authority on its soil because the people of this soil migrated to other countries and there is insecurity and the lack of education,” said Paushtin.

He added Pashtons did not want fighting on its soil, and would raise one voice for peace from Chaman to Sawat. There is a sense of insecurity in Pashtons land and efforts were on to begin a new fighting in this soil.

He said: “On December 11 we will organize a protest rally in Dera Ismael Khan and raise our voices against terrorism. We will fight for the eradication of ongoing aggression against Pashtons.”
