NEILI CITY (Pajhwok): The Public Health Department of central Daikundi province has closed 16 unauthorized private health facilities in the provincial capital, Neili.
In a statement, the Public Health Department said the closed health services providers operated without any authorization from the government.
“During the inspection of 70 private health services providers, 12 pharmacy stores, two laboratories, one dental examination center and one hijama center were closed due to the lack of authorization from the government”, the source said.
It also said officials seized 94 types of expired and low quality medicines weighing about a ton.
