IEA trying to provide treatment to all drug addicts: Hanafi

SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): Government strived to provide treatment to all drug addicts in the country and reintegrate them into the society, a top acting government official said on Tuesday.

Mawlavi Abdul Salaam Hanif, administrative aid of the acting Prime Minister, during his trip to Sar-i-Pul province, said: “The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) allocated 5.13 billion afs for widow, orphans, and martyrs. The widows and orphans of the past government security forces were also provided with the support.”

He added 20,000 seats had been considered for education which will be provided to individuals deprived of education.

Regarding madrasaes that are not registered, Hanafi said the government wanted to register them.

Referring to the excavation of petroleum products, he said: “Soon the contract of Sar-i-Pul petroleum excavation will be inked with a foreign company.”
