TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Security forces have destroyed poppy crop on 10 acres of land in the Deh Rawood district of central Uruzgan province, an official said on Saturday.
Qari Sayeed, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that that the illicit crop was eradicated in Segar, Kakrkai, Poti, Tangi and Londyani areas of the district.
He said the banned crop was destroyed in compliance with the order from Amir-ul-Momeenin. He said no one was allowed to cultivate any kind of narcotics.
