HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): As part of Afghan prisoners’ extradition, Iran has extradited 320 more Afghan prisoners, an official said on Wednesday.
Maualvi Mohammad Nabi Khalil, deputy general head of the Herat prison, confirmed the development and added the process will continue till the extradition of a total 1,900 prisoners.
He said 320 prisoners were handed over to Afghan authorities. It is worth mentioning that 560 Afghan prisoners were handed over to Afghan authorities two days ago.
The extradition process was launched in Islam Qala Port in the presence of head of the prisoner affairs, Afghan ambassador for Iran and other high ranking officials.
