KABUL (Pajhwok): The UN mission has underlined the need for resolving Afghanistan’s problems through dialogue, offering help in this regard.
UN Secretary General’s Special Representative Roza Otunbayeva promised the UN would continue to deliver aid to Afghanistan.
The UN diplomat was met Deputy Prime Minister Maulvi Abdul Kabir here on Friday, says a statement from the government.
The deputy premier said the interim government had met all conditions for international recognition and desired active engagement with the world at large.
While urging the world body to lift travel sanctions on IEA officials, Kabir said the caretaker government believed in dialogue and an inclusive system.
