KABUL (Pajhwok): The Economic Commission on Saturday gave the go-ahead to three major development projects proposed by the Kabul Municipality.
Approval for the projects came at a meeting of the commission, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister, Abdul Ghani Baradar.
A statement from the deputy premier’s office said he schemes would be executed in the 1th and 9th police districts of the capital.
Markets for dried fruits and a standard center for their exhibition would be constructed at a cost of 388 million afghanis, the statement said.
A residential and commercial centre worth 392 million afghanis would be constructed on an area of 1,630 square meters in the 9th police district of Kabul.
