KABUL (Pajhwok): Swiss Ambassador to the UN Pascale Baeriswyl has said there is no magic solution to Afghanistan crisis, terming the situation under the new regime a “very difficult dilemma” to deal with.
“We do not have the magic solution to that,” Baeriswyl told reporters at the UN headquarters after her country took over the presidency of the UN security council for the first time.
“I really hope that the Doha meeting leads to a discussion of how to handle the situation”.
The two-day UN convened talks in Doha ended on Tuesday, with the UN chief slamming unprecedented curbs on the rights of Afghan women.
