MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Two people have been killed and three others wounded as a result of traffic accident in Bandar district of northern Faryab province, an official said on Monday.
Maulvi Shamsullah Mohammadi, director of information and culture, said the accident took place after a flying coach type vehicle veered off the road and flipped over late on Sunday.
He said two people, including a woman, were killed and three others wounded in the accident.
Mohammadi called broken and bumpy road of the district a reason behind the accident.
Sardar Zarqawi, a resident of the district, told Pajhwok in a phone call that the road of the district in bad condition which caused most of the traffic accidents.
He urged the government to pay attention to this issue and address it as soon as possible.
