NIELI, MAIMANA, SAR-I-PUL CITY (Pajhwok): Three people have been killed and 22 others injured in traffic accidents in northern Sar-i-Pul, northwestern Faryab and central Daikundi provinces, officials said on Tuesday.
One individual was killed and 12 others injured when a passenger bus tipped off after skidding off the Road in the Shahristan district of Daikundi province.
Police Spokesperson Ghulam Ali Javid said the accident happened at around 3:00am on Tuesday in Siah Baghal Pass.
Elsewhere, two passengers were killed and three others injured in two separate accidents in Faryab province, according to the provincial Police Headquarters.
In Sar-i-Pul, four people, including two children and a woman, were injured a passenger vehicle overturned after skidding of the road in the Balkhab district.
Police Spokesperson Din Mohammad Nazari said the incident happened on Monday in the Tarkhoj area.
