TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Security forces have seized and destroyed 6,775 kilograms of ephedra plant used in processing narcotics in central Uruzgan province, an official said on Thursday.
Mullah Gulab, head of counter-narcotics, told Pajhwok Afghan News the security forces recovered and the 6,775 kilograms of ephedra and 75 kilogram of narcotics in Tirinkot City, the provincial capital.
He said the seized ephedra plant and narcotics were burnt and destroyed.
