4 men arrested in Parwan, Kapisa on murder charges

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested four persons on murder charges in central Parwan and Kapisa provinces.

Parwan police headquarters in a statement said three people had been arrested for allegedly killing a farmer in his garden room in Koh Safi district almost two weeks ago.

The statement identified the slain person as Muhammad Saber, a resident of Ahmad Khel area.

One of the co-accused, Fahimullah, son of Naeem Jan, was arrested in Ismail Khel district of southeastern Khost province and he had confessed to his crime.

Two others Ziarat Gul, son of Jannat Gul and Mujib, son of Muhammad Agha, were arrested in Koh Safi district.

The detainees will be handed over to the relevant bodies, pending completion of an investigation.

Elsewhere, a man was arrested in central Kapisa province on murder charge.

Kapisa Police Command in a statement said a person named Abdul Jamil was killed yesterday in Qurbankhel Jamal Agha village of Kohistan-II district and the killer managed to escape.

The accused, Samiullah, a resident of the same village, was arrested by security forces, the statement said.
