ANSA’s Hairatan branch collected 423 million afs revenue last year

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan National Standards Authority (ANSA) Hairatan branch in northern Balkh province has collected 423 million afs revenue last year, an official said on Tuesday.

Hairatan ANSA Deputy Head Ghulam Yahya Loqmani told Pajhwok Afghan News 423 million afs revenue collected from the ANSA labortary services last year and sent to the state treasury.

He said the provincial Revenue Department set the target of 250 million afs but they were able to collect two times higher amount of revenue.

Loqman said 196 million afs revenue collected in the first four months of ongoing year while last year 30 million afs were collected in the same period.

He said after the takeover of the new government six tankers of petroleum products, four tankers of gas and 67 tankers of diesels weighting 4649 tonnes were sent back because it did not met the required condition.

Local residents are thrilled that the revenue of ANSA had surged.

Ahmadullah, the resident of Mazar-i-Sharif, said ANSA revenue had surge and it also imposed curbs on the import of low quality products.

According to the ANSA officials a total 2,000 tankers containing low quality products had been sent back last year.
