NEA honours Kankor highest positions holders

KABUL (Pajhwok): Deputy Interior Minister Mawlavi Mohammad Nabi Umari has asked successful Kanor students to serve the country through Islamic and modern education.

Umari expressed the view while addressing a gathering regarding the admiration of successful Kankor students from grade first to fifth.

Mohammad Younis Rashid, deputy head of Information Ministry’s Youth Affairs Department, said the future of Afghanistan is linked with youth and they should raise themselves in a way which county could proud of them.

Abdul Baqi Haqqani, acting head of the National Examination Authority (NEA), stressed over getting religious and modern education and said Muslims need both types of education.

Haqqani said currently the country is free, security is intact and education facility is provided for youth and this was not available in the past.

Kankor first position holder Mahmood expressed satisfaction about the transparency in the examination and asked youth to work had as everything is possible by hard work.
