KABUL (Pajhwok): State-run Spin Zar company has exported 150 tonnes of dried tomatoes to Europe, says the company.
Maulvi Abdul Hameed Akhundzada, director of Spin Zar company, said the export of dried tomatoes was a great achievement as the country’s vegetables reached Europe.
He also said that the Islamic Emirate wanted to connect Afghanistan with European and Asian countries through Wakhan corridor in northeastern Badaskhshan province. He said Afghanistan was now peaceful and was developing day by day.
The company has not been active since past 21 years. After a brief hiatus, the company resumed operating after the Islamic Emirate’s return to power. Now it produces cotton, cotton oil and paper towels.
