KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Defence on Tuesday said that the orthopedic team has successfully performed a joint replacement operation at the 400-bed Sardar Mohammad Dawood Khan Hospital.
The ministry wrote on its X handle that a complete hip-joint replacement operation was successfully performed by the orthopedic team with modern medical equipment and devices.
The source added that this surgery had been successfully performed seven times by professional and expert doctors in the past 2 months, and the health condition of the patients has returned to normal.
