TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): A narcotics processing factory has been found and destroyed in Charchino district of central Uruzgan province, police official said on Sunday.
Information and Culture Director Agha Wali Qureshi told Pajhwok Afghan News that security forces destroyed the drug processing lab in Yakhdan area of the district on Saturday night.
He said 1,350-kilograms of processed ephedra, 100-kilogram soda and 150-litre diesel were also destroyed and a car was seized.
According to him, six people have been arrested in connection with the factory and referred to the relevant organs.
