New appointments made in Supreme Court, Darul Eftah

KABUL (Pajhwok): Leadership of the ‘Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’ (IEA) has made 10 new high level appointments in the Supreme Court and added two new members to the Apex Court’s Darulefta.

IEA Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid on his Twitter handle wrote the appointments made on the direction of the top leadership.

He wrote Sheikh Sultan Mohammad, former member of the Central Dar al-Ifta, as the president of the Dar al-Ifta of the Supreme Court, Mawlavi Abdul Ghaffar Bahr, the former president of the Kandahar Court of Appeal, as the director of the Supreme Court’s audit and studies, the former of the Tamiz Section of the Southwest Zone Mufti Sharafuddin as the director of judicial education of the same zone.

Mufti Abdul Jalil, former president of the civil section of the Kandahar Court of Appeal, as president of Zabul Court of Appeal, Mawlavi Abdul Khaliq, former president of Nimroz Court of Appeal, as president of Badghis Court of Appeal.

Former president of Badghis Court of Appeal Abdul Khaliq as the president of Nimroz Court of Appeal, former president of Zabul Ulama Council, Mawlavi Abdul Jabbar Agha as president of the Public Security Division of Kandahar Court of Appeal, former president of the Public Security Division of Kandahar Court of Appeal, Mawlavi Mugfurullah as president of the courts of Civil Diwan, Mufti Mohiuddin, a former member of the Central Darul-Ifta, as a member of the Supreme Court Darul-Ifta, and Mufti Abdul Noor, a former member of the Central Darul-Ifta, as a member of the Supreme Court.
