KABUL (Pajhwok): Canada evacuated 345 Afghan nationals in a charter flight from Pakistan to Toronto, The Canadian Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship authority said on Friday.
“Today, 345 Afghan nationals arrived in Toronto on a charter flight from Pakistan. They will continue their journey to approximately 47 communities across Canada, including Edmonton, St. John’s and Winnipeg. Canada has met its goal of welcoming at least 40,000 refugees and vulnerable Afghans since August 2021, and work continues to process eligible applications already received. Learn more.”
