MEHTARLAM (Pajhwok): At least four people have been killed as a result of a clash during a volleyball game in the Alishang district of eastern Laghman province.
Police spokesman Younis Yousafzai told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in the Nooram area of the district late on Wednesday.
He said the fight was triggered by a verbal dispute, killing of four people. He added the killer named Nasir Ahmand had been detained with a Kalashnikov.
The detainee had confessed to his crime and would be introduced to judicial organs after preliminary interrogations, Yousafzai said.
