KABUL (Pajhwok): The Kabul Municipality has completed and put into service five projects in the central capital’s 12th and 8th security districts at a cost of 147 million afghanis.
Kabul mayor Maulvi Abdul Rashid told a meeting today that the projects included a commercial market, two amusement parks and two roads and their completion consumed 147 million afghanis.
Mir Rahman Nasiri, head of Kabul Municipality’s Project Management Department, also said they would carry out 165 different projects worth 6.18 billion afghanis in 1403 solar year.
This year, he said, aid agencies and organizations had planned 200 different projects to provide employment opportunities to the people.
According to the Kabul Municipality, 206 projects were implemented in Kabul city last year.
