KABUL (Pajhwok): Two of five people planning to torch a market have been killed and three others arrested in northern Balkh province, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Tuesday.
In a statement, MoI said as a result of the operation, police thwarted the miscreants’ attempt to burn the market in the Amrakh village of Zari district.
During a blockade the area, the miscreants fired at the security forces. In the ensuing clash, two of the miscreants were killed and three others caught alive.
