KABUL (Pajhwok): Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday (tomorrow), as the moon could not be sighted on Tuesday evening, the Supreme Court announced.
Earlier, the apex court had asked the people to inform authorities if anyone sighted the Shawwal moon.
There were rumours the festival could be celebrated on Tuesday (today), but the top court put them to rest. The Saudi government has also announced the festival will be marked tomorrow.
