IEA officials stress getting high modern education

KABUL (Pajhwok): Some officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) during the graduation ceremony of Polytechnic University students stressed obtaining modern education besides religious education.

Ceremony for the graduation of 537 students of engineering faculty was held today (Tuesday), in the presence of different government officials at Polytechnic University, Kabul.

Acting Higher Education Minister Nida Mohammad Nadim said that education was direly needed in all areas religious or modern and stressed that students should work hard to improve their level of education.

Mohammad Khalid Hanafi, acting minister of the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (PVPV), said that getting modern education was the vital for the development off the country.

Mohammad Wali, one of the students, was happy for the completion of his bachelor degree and asked the government to provide work opportunity for the new graduates.
