Kabul wants Afghan traders facilitated at Iranian ports

KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Afghanistan’s ambassador to Iran has discussed problems of Afghan traders and transport companies with the Chairman of the High Council of Free Zones and Commercial Ports of Iran.

The Afghan Embassy in Iran in a press release said Acting Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Tehran, Maulvi Fazal Mohammad Haqqani, met with the Chairman of the High Council of Free Zones and Commercial Ports of Iran, Reza Masroor.

At the meeting, Haqqani said problems being faced by Afghan traders and investors in Chabahar, Anzali and Qeshm ports should be resolved and necessary facilities for their investment be created.

Apart from the transit of Afghan exports and imports through Chabahar Port, the two sides also discussed resolving problems of Afghan traders and transport companies in Anzali Port and a number of other issues.
