A dozen people injured in Herat traffic accident

HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): A dozen people were injured including women and children in a traffic accident on the highway in Pashtun Zarghoon district of western Herat province on Monday, officials said.

Herat Regional Hospital spokesman Mohammad Rafiq Sherzai told Pajhwok Afghan News said 10 injured people were taken to Herat Regional Hospital and two others by ambulance to Guzara District Hospital.

According to him, the condition of all the injured is stable.

Most of traffic accidents result from poor road conditions and negligence of drivers.
