PUL-I-ALAM (PAN): One person was killed and two others were wounded when a roadside bomb blast ripped through a tractor in central Logar province on Wednesday, police said.
The blast took place in the Wazir Qala area on the outskirts of provincial capital, Pul-i-Alam, crime branch chief, Col. Mohammad Jan Abid, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the victims were brothers. It was a newly planted mine that blew up the tractor, the police official said.
A doctor on duty at the Logar Civil Hospital, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed receiving two injured people. He said they were in stable condition.
Narang, 50, who survived the blast, said they were travelling to Pul-i-Alam when the bomb detonated beneath their vehicle. “Only civilians are being killed and wounded in the conflict. I want the war stopped.”
