KABUL): A helicopter of international troops had emergency landing on Monday, injuring four Canadian soldiers in the southern Kandahar province, the alliance said.
The chopper of NATO) made emergency landing due to technical problems in Panjwaee district, a statement from ISAF media office, said.
There were no casualties reported and the cause of the incident was under investigation, the statement from ISAF media office, said.
The forces condoned of the area. They denied militants’ involvement in the incident, the statement added.
Meanwhile, Canadian defence ministry announced that their four soldiers were wounded when a helicopter crashed in a remote area of the Panjwaee district.
The soldiers were immediately taken from the site by another aircraft, the source said.
There are more than 2,500 Canadian soldiers fighting against terrorists in Kandahar province. Since 2001, 155 soldiers of the country have been killed in Afghanistan.
