KABUL in a statement also said its five troops died following an improvised explosive device attack.
The ISAF statement did not provide further details, but reports said the soldiers were on patrol close to their base in Ghazni when the bomb exploded.
Three soldiers died at the scene and another two were said to have died of their wounds at a military hospital.
Poland has 2,500 troops in Afghanistan handling security in Ghazni.
The soldiers were part of a provincial reconstruction team, according to Polish media.
