KABUL on Wednesday declared as illegal the activities of third-party providers sponsoring study abroad programmes.
In a brief statement, the ministry said private companies that sent students abroad for higher studies against payments were acting against the country’s laws and education policy.
Without giving details, the statement said some private firms offered students arrangements overseas for education.
“Such organisations should stop their activities, otherwise a legal action will be initiated against them,” warned the higher education ministry that advised students to stay away from such illegal outfits.
