KABUL Clinic (CHC) and a school building and handed them over to authorities in Kunar and Samangan provinces.
With the construction of CHC in Sar Bagh district of Samangan, residents will no longer need to take their patients to the city for medical treatment. The clinic will provide them all necessary health facilities at their doorsteps.
Equipped with necessary facilities, the clinic cost eight million afghanis provided by the European Union.. Deputy Governor of Samangan Akhtar Mohammad Khairzada hoped: “This health clinic would resolve health issues facing the local community.”
With construction of the new school in a remote village of Kunar, SCA said, the ground had been paved for Afghan children to be educated. The SIDA-funded school building in Narang district cost more than 10 million afghanis.
The school has eight classrooms, four administrative rooms, eight toilets and one separated resource centre, which consists of a computer lab, a laboratory and a meeting hall.
