JALALABAD (PAN): Two people were wounded in a roadside bombing on the outskirts of Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province, on Wednesday, an official said.
The incident took place in Behsud district around 9.am when a bomb struck an Afghan National Army (ANA) pick-up, wounding a soldier and a civilian, police spokesman Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Nangarhar Civil Hospital officials confirmed receiving two wounded people. They said both were is stable condition.
Witness Habib Rahman said the bomb, placed beneath a bridge, damaged the ANA vehicle. The blast was heard in nearby areas.
