KABUL): A police commander survived a bomb attack in the central capital Kabul, an official said on Saturday.
The blast took place on Friday night when a bomb attached to the commander’s vehicle exploded in the Shah Shahid area of 8th police district.
Police spokesman Hashmatullah Stanikzai told Pajhwok Afghan News no casualties resulted from the explosion, but the vehicle was partially damaged.
Stanikzai did not name the commander but said an investigation into the issue was going on.
