LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): The border police chief for southern Helmand province escaped unhurt a suicide attack in Lashkargah, the provincial capital, on Wednesday, an official said.
The incident took place at 6:20am today morning when a car bomber detonated his explosives in front of the 604th zone border police camp in Bolan area, the governor’s spokesman Omar Zwak told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said Gen. Sultan Mohammad survived the attack but three policemen were injured in the incident. But an yewitness claimed seeing a police vehicle ablaze. fearing there could be casualties.
