KABUL (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah has said Afghan security forces were strong enough to defend the country and no other force had the power to defeat them.
Speaking at Sandhurst Royal Military Academy on the last day of his visit to London, the CEO said after September 2001, his country faced multiple challenges but dealt with them with the cooperation of international allies, including the UK.
He acknowledged the Afghan security forces still faced many challenges but said: “I am proud of them and they have the ability to defend our country and no other power would be able to defeat them.”
He added Afghanistan’s allies had renewed their long-term commitments in Brussels and London to help the country. Abdullah also met Sandhurst Academy’s Afghan students.
