ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Six border police personnel were killed and a seventh wounded as a result of a roadside bombing in eastern Nuristan province on Saturday, an official said.
The incident took place this afternoon in the Baghchi locality of Kamdesh district, Governor Hafiz Abdul Qayyum, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the border policemen were traveling from Kunar to Nuristan province when their vehicle struck the roadside bomb, leaving six officials dead and one wounded.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the roadside bombing.
