KABUL (Pajhwok): Nine suspected militants were killed in a US drone strike in the Nazyan district of eastern Nangarhar province, Pakistani media reported.
Shakir Sipah, a driver of Lashkar-i-Islam (LI) chief Mangal Bagh, was among the fatalities, a Pakistani newspaper quoted intelligence sources as saying.
Dawn reported militants belonging to the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban (TTP) and LI were killed in the raid. LI commanders Fazal Amin, Shamat Khan Sipah and Wajid were among the dead.
TTP commanders Yaseen, Zubair, Abdul Rehman Shinwari and training instructor Zar Wali were also killed in the attack on hideout with two missiles.
