1 person killed, 10 injured in Herat blast

HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): One person was killed and ten others injured in a magnetic bomb blast in Herat City, the capital of western Herat province, on Wednesday evening, officials said.

Police Spokesman Abdul Ahad Walizada told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place at around 6:30 pm on the north road of Jami Mosque.

Governor Spokesman Jelani Farhad said the blast caused by a magnetic bomb attached to a military vehicle which was parked in front of the house of 207^th Zafar Military Cops’ chief of staff.

There was no claim of responsibility for the blast so far.
