Makhmudov expressed these views during a meeting with National Security Advisor Hamdullah Mohib in Tashkent, the Uzbek capital, a statement from Mhob office said.
It said the two sides held detailed discussion on different issues ranging from the fight against terrorism to drug smuggling, border cooperation, bilateral economic cooperation, infrastructure, transportation, education and cultural ties.
Makhmudov reiterated his country’s commitment to supporting an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process.
