KABUL through the Milak crossing, an Iranian official says.

India’s latest humanitarian aid to Afghanistan — 75,000 tonnes of wheat — docked was shipped to the port earlier in the month.

IRNA quoted an official of Sistan-Baluchistan province, Jalaluddin Qaderi, as saying that 90 truckloads of the wheat were being sent to Afghanistan a day.

The first part of the aid package, consisted of 203 containers with 5,000 tonnes of wheat, was taken to Afghanistan 12 days after its arrival at Chabahar.

The aid is being transported to Herat, Kandahar, Baghlan, Kabul and Balkh provinces through the Milak-Zaranj border crossing.
