KABUL attack in northeastern Badakhshan province, a private TV channel reported on Tuesday.
At least 10 Afghan Local Police (ALP) personnel were wounded on Monday evening when the Taliban stormed their security outpost in the Jurm district of the remote province.
Tolo TV quoted a provincial security official as saying that four members of the local police were taken hostage by the attackers, who also set alight two military vehicles and decamped with equipment.
The Badakhshan police said 10 security personnel were either killed or wounded in the overnight attack, which was repulsed by the security forces.
