KABUL (Pajhwok): Five people have been killed as a result of a gas cylinder blast in Kabul, an official said on Sunday.
Police spokesman Firdos Faramarz said the gas cylinder exploded inside a bakery in limits of the 4th police district on Saturday night.
He said five people were killed and those injured in the incident were evacuated to hospital. He did no provide the number of the injured.
But a source, wishing anonymity, claimed the victims had come to get Pakistani visas and due to cold weather they went close to the bakery to warm themselves up.
