2 security officials gunned down in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead two security officers in Kabul, an official said on Tuesday.

Firdos Faramarz, police spokesman, confirmed the incident to Pajhwok Afghan News, saying the killings occurred in the 12th Kabul police district at around 7:40am.

He added no individuals had so far been arrested in connection with the murders. The case is jointly being investigation by security organs.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack in Kabul, where targeted killings have once again spiked, triggering concerns among residents.
