PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): The Pakistan army chief and the top Chinese diplomat in Afghanistan have exchanged views on recent developments in Afghanistan.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa met Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
A statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the Chinese ambassador commended Pakistan’s sincere efforts for peace and stability in the region, especially for the Afghan peace process.
The COAS welcomed China’s contribution towards Pakistan’s fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, the statement added.
